On the screenshot you can see the different symbols and notifications icons on your Android phone. The Status bar is shown at the top of the display. The icons indicats that you have received notifications on the left, and icons indicating the phone’s status, on
the right.
If you end with more icons than your status bar can show, you will see a plus icon prompting you to open the Notifications panel to view them all.

I have a symbol on the left of the 3G symbol that is 3 vertical wavy lines. It’s not always there. I’m confused. Can anyone tell me what it is? It’s not shown in the list of symbols from this article.

I have this circle the pops up to the left of my vibrate symbol but still on the right side of my bar it flashs a few times then goes away. Is my phone being tapped or located whats going on?

I have a a circle that looks like a compass-type circle on my phone with another blinking full circle inside. I can’t figure out what it is or what it wants. It’s freaking me out! I’m convinced somebody’s spying on me! The symbol isn’t on this page. Help!!!
I have a blinking triangle on my tool bar and have no idea what it means,does anyone know what it is? Tried looking it up and cant find anything.
The three wavy lines indicate that your ringer is set to vibrate.
How can Google (or Samsung) be so stupid to use all these symbols – and yet not offer any explanation to them in the phone? It’s beyond me…
